The Service deals with marketing and promotion, advertising, student recruitment, events, press, community, public and alumni relations, publications, the corporate Internet site, education liaison and market research.
Recruitment, Access and Partnership (RAP)
The RAP team promotes the University to students, customers and other external stakeholders. It works with schools and colleges|, attends exhibitions in the UK, organises Open days| and answers the many enquiries that come into the University on a daily basis. The RAP team is also responsible for the overall strategic marketing of the University courses.
International Office
The International Office is a one-stop-shop for international students who are planning to study at the University. The office handles enquiries about the courses or the University in general, as well as accepting applications from overseas and EU students. Staff in theInternational Office| help applicants with all aspects of the applications process right through to pre-enrolment on arrival.
The International Office maintains links with a wide variety of partners around the world and works closely with faculties and other departments to ensure a high level of service to potential students.
Press, Public Relations and Publications
The Press, Public Relations and Publications team liaises with the media, the city and the community. It produces the University magazine Issue,| the internal newsletter Campus Link, the prospectuses and a variety of brochures and other high-quality publicity materials. The team designs and manages the corporate internet site, sends out press releases, organises events, develops the Alumni Association| and runs the Millais Gallery.
