“I studied for my undergraduate degree in Business and Finance at Southampton Solent University and applied for an internship here after I graduated. As part of that internship, I was able to choose any course to study. Because I want to be a chartered accountant, I naturally chose the ACCA course. It’s perfect for me.
It’s difficult, but enjoyable. The teaching facilities here are very good and so are the lecturers who are all willing to go above and beyond to help you pass your exams and feel confident with the subject.
After the lecture all the notes go onto MyCourse, our section of the intranet for all our online learning materials. This is particularly useful because we get a lot of notes!
We study a lot of different areas of accountancy and it has a very broad syllabus. My favourite subject so far is Performance Management because its very number orientated, and I’m good with numbers!
With 30 weeks of teaching time it is amazing value for money, and revision week is also an excellent opportunity for exam practice and to get help with exam style before the actual exam day.
All in all its an excellent place to study.”
