Course overview Multimeter

The BSc Electronic Engineering degree (Part Time) at Southampton Solent University offers you the opportunity to 'top up' your Electronic Engineering Foundation Degree (FdSc) with an Honours qualification. You may also be eligible if you hold a relevant HND.

As well as gaining the systematic understanding required for Honours level study, you'll emerge as a graduate with practical experience of modern electronic engineering systems.
The themes of computing and communications will complement your previous studies, and are balanced with elements of business strategy or entrepreneurship.

Not only will you develop the decision-making skills sought by employers, you'll gain the qualification needed to achieve Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and even Chartered Engineer (CEng) status if you go onto achieve an MSc.

Our emphasis on hands-on learning means that your development will be measured through your practical projects rather than by exams alone. Through case studies, laboratory work, seminars and, your 'learning by doing' helps to maintain our high success rate for graduate employability.
Our experienced, approachable staff, are committed to ensuring that your studies are relevant to the electronic engineering industry, and kept in line with changing technologies and principles.
