Entry requirements
We accept successful completion of the International Access Programme, A-levels and the International Pre-Masters in Business. This coupled with an IELTS of 6.0 for undergraduate courses or 6.5 for postgraduate courses.

"Before I joined the university, I was at Bournemouth & Poole College which is only a 30 minute train journey from Southampton. I completed an International Access to Business Foundation course.
I also did an English language course and another International Tourism Foundation course at MLS College in Bournemouth.
I am now working hard to graduate with a Bachelor degree in International Tourism Management at Southampton Solent University.
I am very happy with the course because International Tourism Management is the subject I have wanted to do since I finished my foundation course. I have found that Solent University provides overseas study placements for second year students, this interests me as it would be very good for me to study overseas in a different situation.
The university halls are just ten minutes walk from the main campus. This creates a very exciting and fun night life for students.
I have to say that the United Kingdom is a really wonderful place to study and live."
