1. The Courses.| We offer a wide range of undergraduate| and postgraduate| courses that are modern, relevant and vocational. The study programmes are flexible, and many offer opportunities for additional professional qualifications.

3. Teaching comes first. Our priority is you the student and your experience here. Professional staff, often with backgrounds in relevant industries, and excellent facilities mean you get more out of your course.
4. Courses for careers. Courses| are designed so you hit the ground running after graduation. Our graduate employment rate is consistently well above the UK national average and we have close links with local businesses and community.
5. Accommodation|. Southampton Solent University offers an extensive range of rooms, 2300 rooms in total, in six different halls of residence. All halls of residence are located in close proximity to each other, the main campus and the city centre. The accommodation office expects to be able to provide a room for all requesting new students.

7. Social life. Southampton is home to 30,000 students and hosts an ever-growing number of pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinemas and theatres. The Students' Union| is also strong and active, providing good support and plenty of socialising.
8. International. We have students from over 50 different countries around the world studying here, creating a truly multicultural environment.
9. Accessible. We pride ourselves on our widening participation|programme, encouraging applications from under-represented groups, who may not have previously thought about higher education. Many of our students had non-conventional qualifications.
10. Support. We have comprehensive and highly regarded student support services| for study assistance|, disability support|, student funding|, student affairs|, careers advice| or whatever you need help with.
11. Facilities. Our sports and recreation| facilities include a sports hall, gym, outdoor pitches and a fully accredited RYA and AALA water sports centre| based at our Warsash Maritime Academy|. Our IT facilities| are excellent as is the Library|.
