Welcome to Eco Ernie
Eco Ernie is on a mission to clean up our city. The 'greenest milk float in the South' is an innovative new recycling and reuse initiative developed by Southampton Solent University and its Students' Union. Travelling through the streets of the Polygon area collecting student's household rubbish, Ernie’s aim is to leave our streets cleaner and greener.
Supported by the local authorities and run by volunteers, Eco Ernie raises the importance of recycling and is fast becoming an award winning scheme, soon to evolve through-out the country.
