Sarah Richards

Sarah RichardsSarah Richards joined the Lean Team three years ago when Cardiff University embarked on an ambitious plan to become a Lean University. Sarah has led many Lean projects at a strategic level and also provided support for continuous improvement projects.
She was involved with the design of the Lean Skills for Leaders in Higher Education training course and mentors colleagues through the programme. Sarah is currently setting up a community of practice of lean practitioners at Cardiff University to help facilitate the sharing of best practice.

Before joining Cardiff University Sarah worked in the utility sector, primarily with Welsh Water where her roles included Business Process Re-engineering manager, Service Delivery Alliance Relationship manager and Customer Experience manager.

Sarah has a BSc Econ and MBA from Cardiff University, is a member of the Institute of Customer Service and a committee member for the charity WaterAid in Wales.
