Southampton Solent Business School is a dynamic, professional and inclusive business school which supports learners to become graduates with impact. Real world experiences, consultancy projects, work placements, business games and simulations and live briefs are embedded within our professionally accredited courses. Staff and students engage with employers and the local, national and international community through our business networks, volunteering opportunities, research projects and social enterprises. These rich experiences effectively fuse academic theory with practice, and enable our students to make a positive impact in the workplace, before and after they graduate.
We offer a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional learning opportunities in areas such as business, law, accountancy and finance, marketing, and human resource management. Courses such as the BA (Hons) Business Management|, the LLB (Hons)|, the BA (Hons) Marketing Management|, the BA (Hons) Accountancy and Finance|, the MBA|, the MA HRM| and the MProf|, are accrediated by a host of professional bodies such as the CIPD|, ACCA|, CIM|, SRA| , ILEX| and CIMA|.
We also host a suite of educational courses including the SEDA |accredited Postgraduate Certificate in Blended Learning|. This educational expertise has allowed us to develop flexible learning opportunities, including the FDA in Business| and the MA Business| which combine face to face weekend delivery with online learning. We also offer a suite of professional development units such as Budgeting Basics|, Fundamentals of Marketing|, Mentoring|, Leadership and Management| and Equality and Diversity|.
Southampton Solent Business School courses are delivered by enterprising academics many of whom have industry experience and professional qualifications. Staff undertake applied research and continuing professional development which feeds directly into the curriculum.
