Graduate Destinations
Students with law qualifications are highly sought after and not just by the legal profession. LLB (Hons) graduates are well placed to progress onto the Legal Practice Course or the Bar Vocational Course. If you hope to practice law as either a barrister or a solicitor you will need to continue studying after you obtain your LLB, and staff within the Faculty will be on hand to help you every step of the way.
However, you don’t have to follow this path. Many law graduates find work in business, education, government, journalism and a whole host of other careers and some continue onto further study. The analytical, communication and personal skills that law graduates possess makes them capable of taking on a variety of roles, of which legal knowledge may only play a small part.
Students from the FdA/HND could decide that further study and the progression onto the LLB is not for them. Again, the skills developed through the course will equip you for a multitude of careers.
