The Gambia Trip
Our annual trip to The Gambia could be a once in a lifetime trip! This is an opportunity to explore new cultures and destinations and to soak up the atmosphere of an African experience. You will develop a knowledge of different types of tourism whilst staying in both the developed coastal area as well as the small-scale community based tourism camps up country. This will provide an insight into cultural and ecotourism as well as the impacts of tourism development and possible solutions. The overall experience will add immeasurably to your academic studies by placing a range of theory into its practical context.
