Southampton Solent University has a wealth of resources including facilities and equipment but our most valuable resource is our staff and their experience of industry. This innovative group of degrees draws upon the professional expertise of an exciting group of industry practitioners from a wide range of creative backgrounds.
We offer degrees in screenwriting, media/creative writing, journalism (hard news, broadcast and magazine), fashion journalism, advertising, public relations, radio and television broadcasting. Not only do students study with industry practitioners but the School prides itself on a suite of vocational degrees underpinned by cutting edge theoretical research. This enables graduates to either enter employment or to continue their studies to Masters level.
