BA (Hons) Garden Design (Contemporary Spaces)
Your portfolio should demonstrate: A lively, creative approach to development of the course projects and outcomes.
We will need to see art and design work from your current course or self-directed study. If possible please include items which demonstrate your drawing skills.
We would also like to see some work which exhibits a solid interest in Garden Design. This could be demonstrated by:
-
Mood boards of designs for a garden makeover.
-
Written work on your favourite Garden Designer or a Garden Design magazine which you find particularly interesting.
-
Pictures from a Garden Design project you have undertaken/are undertaking. Photographs do not have to be professional quality, we just want to see your excitement about Garden Design and lots of ideas.
The most important thing to remember is that you should try to represent your particular creative direction and personal interests through your portfolio.
Please ensure that you have labelled your portfolio clearly with your name, address and college/school. Whilst every care will be taken in viewing your portfolio, applicants are responsible for ensuring their work can be satisfactorily handled and viewed by staff without the applicant necessarily being present.
You will not necessarily receive an independent interview or be informed whether or not you are successful in your application on the day.
In order for the session to run smoothly, it is important that you are here promptly.
