Helena's hometown is Vetlanda in Sweden but she wanted to move to the USA after her degree. She looked at different courses in several higher education institutions in the UK before choosing the Marketing and Design degree at Southampton Solent University. The course was a good choice, great for careers within the marketing and design industries in the highly competitive American job market.
After graduating, Helena secured a Marketing Design Associate internship with AgaMatrix Inc, an American consumer medical device company in Cambridge, MA, USA. A three-month internship has now been extended to eighteen months and she has been given the title of Operations Assistant. AgaMatrix Inc plans make Helena permanent as soon as she gets her Green Card.
Helena says:
"I am very proud of the position that I have worked myself up to and I have my friends and family to thank for that, but without the Marketing Design degree from Southampton Solent University it wouldn't have been possible. I now live and work in America, which was my goal when I started my course".
