Diploma Supplements

The European Diploma Supplement is a document containing detailed course content information and the student's unit results. It was developed jointly by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO, and is now acknowledged as one of the key devices which supports the Bologna Process.

Diploma Supplements will be produced for students who have completed their full award following the publication of their results.

All efforts are made to ensure that European Diploma Supplements will be presented to students at the annual graduation ceremonies, however some may not be available for presentation and will therefore be posted to students as soon as possible following the graduation ceremonies. It is not possible to issue a European Diploma Supplement to a student prior to the graduation ceremonies.

European Diploma Supplements that are not presented at graduation will be sent to the home address which is held on the student record system, although this is dependent on the student not having any outstanding debt to the University. They will be posted approximately 4 weeks after graduation. Items will be sent by recorded delivery to UK addresses and by air mail to all non-UK addresses. Students can update their home address through the 'My Details' section of the student portal. Diploma Supplements that cannot be delivered by Royal Mail will be returned to the University and stored for one year following your ceremony.
