Graduation certificates
1. When will I receive my certificate?
All available certificates will be handed out at the ceremonies, but if you do not attend your ceremony or your certificate is not available, for any reason, this will be sent to your home address by recorded delivery (UK addresses) as soon as possible after the ceremonies have been held.
If you have not received your certificate within six weeks of graduation please contact us. Please remember, students must clear all debt to the University before their certificate is dispatched and must inform their faculty of any change of address.
2. Certificate details
As your certificate is an important document which can be used for various purposes, the name which appears on it should be your full name as per your birth/marriage certificate including any middle names and without abbreviations, at the time of your award being taken to the exam board. Please ensure your name details are correct prior to graduation as costs will be incurred for reproduced certificates following the event.
3. Award confimation letter
Prior to your certificate being issued at your ceremony, if you require a letter confirming your award, please either contact your Faculty office or email
certificates@solent.ac.uk| and include your full name, full course title and the address the letter is to be sent to. This letter will only be available following the publication and confirmation of your final award.
4. Result transcripts
If you require a transcript of your final year results, please contact your Faculty office.
