Biography

Andrew is currently a Senior Lecturer in Sport at Southampton Solent University and also holds the role of Cluster Leader of the Sport research cluster. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Kent, an MA from the University of Warwick, as well as a PhD from Loughborough University. Andrew’s areas of academic interest include: sports policy and social change, sport and social development, culture, and qualitative research methods.

Andrew is an external examiner for Sheffield Hallam University and Lincoln University. He also is vice chairman for the Leisure Studies Association.
