Biography

Sarah is an Associate Lecturer in the Faculty of Business, Sport and Enterprise teaching in the Marketing subject group. Her qualifications include an MA in Marketing Management, a Post-graduate Certificate in Research Methods and a BA(Hons) in History with History of Art. Sarah teaches on a number of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses accredited by CIM.

  1. CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing (Part Time)
  2. HNC/D Business (Part Time)

Industry experience

Sarah has previously gained industry experience in the following areas:

  • Retail – gallery owner, mail order
  • Proprietor – interior design/picture framing company
  • Supplier – John Lewis, Holiday Property Bond

Research interests

Sarah's research interests lie in Thanatourism and sub-cultures.

Awards

Sarah won the Institute of Commercial Management Prize in 2010.

Work in progress

She is currently researching for a PhD entitled: Marketing the Macabre.
