Biography

An experienced Lecturer and Therapist, Rebecca joined Southampton Solent University in January 2009 and currently teaches sports massage and complementary therapies for sport to students on many of the sport courses.

Rebecca has run her own private practice in sports massage and complementary therapies since 2000.

A graduate from the University of Southampton, she gained her BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, and also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Post Compulsory Education from Portsmouth University. She is an advanced practitioner in the complementary therapy of Kinesiology.

A keen sportswoman, her personal interests include modern Jive dancing – which she also teaches – and Argentine tango. She is also a competitive 10k runner and swimmer.
