Trevor Curtiss joined Southampton Solent University as a part-time lecturer in 2005 after an award-winning career in the media.
He first trained as a newspaper journalist, moved on to become Editor of a commercial radio station, before embarking on a successful career in television production and management at regional and network level with the BBC, ITV and Sky.
He also runs his own TV and video production and consultancy company.
