The following vacancy is available within the ICT section of the University’s Learning and Information Services (LIS).
Senior Systems Support Analyst
A bright, enthusiastic and self-motivated IT professional is required to join a team of thirteen second-line support analysts, based within the Learning and Information Service, who support a range of IT business systems in use at the University. The role involves leading on the development and technical support of various corporate database systems using technologies such as SQL and PL/SQL and the development of web UIs, portlets and system interfaces.
The ideal candidate will be an IT professional with a degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline. Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases is required and as well as experience in web development.
Some overtime, particularly at the weekend may be required.
