£21,802 - £25,251 pro-rata per annum
Part time - 30 hours per week
Fixed Term until 31 October 2012 or the return of the substantive postholder, whichever is sooner

We are seeking a student focussed Student Adviser to be based within the University Students 1st Information Centre a busy “one-stop-shop” providing information advice and guidance on all aspects of student life including key student services.
You should be educated to HND level or equivalent, have previous experience and knowledge of issues facing students; of working in a diverse confidential advice setting; of liaison with external and internal services. Evidence of good communication, organisational and time management skills is required. The ability to be self-motivated, work as part of a team and cope with a demanding workload is also essential.
