The following vacancy is available within the ICT section of the University’s Learning and Information Services (LIS).
Systems Support Analyst
A bright, enthusiastic and self-motivated IT professional is required to join a team of thirteen second-line support analysts, based within the Learning and Information Service, who support a range of IT business systems in use at the University. The role involves the development and technical support of various corporate database systems using technologies such as SQL and PL/SQL and the development of web UIs, portlets and system interfaces.
The ideal candidate will be an IT professional with a degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline. Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases is required and as well as experience in web development.
Some overtime, particularly at the weekend may be required.
