Outside Broadcasting Vehicle Specification

The University's outside broadcast vehicle is a mixed use vehicle with digital vision facilities centred around a Sony Anycast mixer, and surround audio facilities based on the Soundcraft Vi6 digital mixer and Pyramix Digital Audio Workstation. It is capable of recording up to 64 simultaneous tracks of audio and 6 cameras.
The vehicle was custom built by Total Audio Solutions in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, with support from PMC.
It is used for both practical teaching and learning exercises in both multi-camera video and multichannel location audio for students on the following programmes:

The vehicle is also used for a wide variety of external activities (crewed by students) including:

Multi-camera shoots at Glastonbury and Glade music festivals
