Southampton Solent University successfully re-applied for its health and fitness degree courses to be recognised as SkillsActive-endorsed, REPs-recognised industry awards in 2011. We are one of only a handful of HEIs who have mapped their degrees to the recently revised National Occupational Standards in exercise and fitness|. This means that when students graduate, they not only have a degree but also a range of vocational qualifications to enhance their employability.
