Research Cluster
The centre of Health, Exercise and Sport Science research cluster aims to show interdisciplinary collaborative working by focusing on partnerships within as well as external to the University. Within the University there is cross-faculty partnership allowing research to flourish in areas such as music and sport science as well as behaviour change in sport and exercise psychology. In addition, the cluster works in partnership with Sport Solent (the recreation arm of sport within the University) developing links and applied research in sport and exercise science.
As part of its research strategy the cluster aims to increase research output from staff within the cluster.
