Students rock out at Glastonbury 2010
At this summer’s Glastonbury Festival, over 40 students and staff once again shot and produced material for Glastonbury Festivals Ltd.
The project was organised by Jonathan Plummer, Head of Production and Tony Steyger, Creative Director at Solent Productions. This year two outside broadcast vehicles were used to record live music and events from both the Dance East stage and the Leftfield stage.
During the long hot week, four short films| were streamed on the Glastonbury website and three more documentaries produced which explored themes as diverse as Glastonbury at Night|, Politics| and an A-Z|.
The daily performance material included contemporary dance acts such as N-Dubz, Professor Green and Fatboy Slim, whilst on the Leftfield debates, comedy and music were recorded, all curated by Billy Bragg.
