Build your own MA
Revolutionary Masters offered at Solent
Southampton Solent University is working with Skillset| on offering the revolutionary Build your own MA| programme.
The programme will offer media professionals the chance to gain a Masters in Professional Media Practice by choosing their own combination of units from a choice of 75 short courses offered nationwide. It is the first time an educational model of its type has been offered in the UK.
Skillset’s chairman, Clive Jones, said: “Build Your Own MA represents a true revolution in postgraduate education.”
Tony Steyger, Academic Leader – Television, added: “This Masters project allows us to offer our professional development courses to graduates and media professionals, giving them and the regional creative economy the boost it needs.”
