Professor Stuart Hampton-Reeves| from the University of Central Lancashire will be
the keynote speaker at this year’s Research and Informed Teaching (RIT) event at Southampton Solent University.
The RIT event will include a series of talks on
research cluster activity, as well as workshops
to develop skills of students and researchers.
Professor Hampton-Reeves runs the centre for
research-informed teaching at the University of
Central Lancashire, which works with academic
staff of all disciplines to strengthen the relationship between teaching and research.
A keen interested in developing research experiences for undergraduate students has resulted in his keynote speech, which will focus on capitalising students as researchers and publishers.
The RIT event will be held between 9.30am and 3.30pm on February 24th (venue to be confirmed). It is open to anyone at Solent University but specifically staff and students from the Faculty of Media, Arts and Society (FMAS).
