Faculties  

Southampton Solent University has four faculties:

• Faculty of Media, Arts and Society (FMAS)
  
• Faculty of Technology (FTEC)
  
• Faculty of Business, Sport and Enterprise (FBSE)
  
• Warsash Maritime Academy  

Each of our faculties has specialist areas of expertise and the faculty staff conduct research work, consultancy and other projects with local and regional communities, and businesses and feedback into the curriculum.   

These creative partnerships with external organisations often involve students.  

The Warsash Maritime Academy| provides first-class training, consultancy and research to the international shipping and offshore oil industries.
