“I am an IT Tutor at Itchen College|, but I also deal with the development of information and learning technologies within the college, which includes administering our virtual learning environment, Moodle.
“I support students and staff in the use of the software and also use it in my teaching. I was attracted to the Postgraduate Certificate in Blended Learning because I wanted to learn more about the constructivist and community aspects of its use.
“I learn best by having a target to achieve, so this course is ideal. The project I am developing for this course also means I have to learn how to use new tools and applications, and I like the mix of different blended learning options – its more convenient that coming into the University every week, but I still get the support from tutors when I need it, and equally I have access to the learning materials when I need them.”
