Course overview
The course will be delivered by the Southampton Business School and is designed to prepare registered students for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Strategic Level examinations in May each year. Full CIMA membership allows you to use the internationally recognised letters ACMA or FCMA after your name.
As well as enhancing your personal development, this course will increase your career prospects and earning powers in a number of fields, across different industries, and aspects of accountancy.
Course calendar
The course will start on the last Thursday in September and finish the week prior to the CIMA May exams. The final five weeks (or more at your tutor's discretion) will be devoted to revision. The final week before the exam is a private study week with tutorials available by appointment.
Course timetable fees
The course will be delivered (subject to demand) in two modes of attendance, day release and afternoon evening on Wednesdays.

Registration and examination fees are also payable to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in London.

Discounts and invoicing
Discounts are available as follows:
a) 10% discount is automatically applied for students taking all three papers
b) 10% discount for students who have previously studied CIMA at this establishment, and
c) 10% discount for alumni on first year's tuition fee, subject to a maximum discount of 10%.

Assessment
Assessment is by external examinations.
