Lectures guide participants towards issues of collecting and keeping, emphasising the function and challenges around public collections.
Seminars engage participants in debate and decision-making in policy, especially on interpretation and education, and visitor needs. Exhibitions are critiqued in post-visit, group sessions, based on note-taking and diagrams, providing a critical foundation for the assessment.
Assessment
Assessment is through an exhibition proposal and presentation, examined for feasibility, marketability, education and cultural value, informed by observation of good and bad practice in visits to exhibitions.
