I love studying at Southampton Solent University. The campus is conveniently in walking distance of everything, making me the envy of most of my mates who have to drag themselves out of bed to get to university each morning.
"I really enjoy the BA (Hons) Advertising course. Some universities seem pretentious and do not design the courses to prepare students for their careers. Southampton Solent’s approach to education is fresh and logical. I always feel that I am working towards improving my job prospects because of the University’s close link to the industry. My tutors are very approachable and supportive. The quality of teaching I receive is excellent.
"Socially, I don’t think Southampton Solent can be beaten. I am club captain of the Solent University hockey team, which has been a big part of my of my university life. I love being part of Team Solent — everyone is so sociable and has so much fun. I think joining a sports team or society at university is an awesome opportunity that everyone should consider. The city of Southampton offers a wide variety of opportunities to go out, whatever your interest. And you’re never too far from a bar, which suits me down to the ground!"
