BA (Hons) Business Management student Richard Sayer had been working within the business industry for a number of years before he decided to further his skills. “The University's strong links with industry were big a factor in my decision to come here” He reveals.
“Southampton is a friendly city with a massive student population – there is a great atmosphere at the University because of this.
“It’s the high level of student support that Richard rates highest during his time at Solent. “The lecturers are extremely helpful.” He explains: “They are always willing to help and keen to offer feedback on your work”.
Like many students, Richard hopes to break into his chosen industry when he graduates; “I’d like to get into accountancy or return to business management. Ultimately though, I’d like to run my own business one day.”
