HNC Construction Management (Part Time)
Entry level
40 points minimum from either 6-unit or 3-unit awards plus four GCSE/GCE O Levels (Grade C or above) including Mathematics and English or, BTEC/Edexcel Advanced GNVQ or National Certificate/Diploma in a Building/Construction related discipline, or, relevant Access course; or other qualifications which are considered to be equivalent of the above.
Students may be admitted on the basis of relevant experience rather than standard qualifications.

Course overview
The HNC Construction Management course at Southampton Solent University is a nationally recognised qualification which will prepare you for a higher technician role within the construction management sector of the construction industry.

Assessment methods include coursework assignments, design/drawing portfolios, portfolios of evidence, case study analysis and examinations.

HNC Year 1: Wednesdays 9am to 6/7pm
HNC Year 2: Thursdays 9am to 5pm
Fees
Fees for the 2011/12 academic year are:
£1,375 pa for UK and EU students or £565 per 20 point unit. Overseas students please contact the faculty for details of fees. Students also pay an Edexcel Registration fee, contact the faculty office for details
