How did you get interested in your subject?
I had many conversations with friends and it seemed interesting and appealed to me!
What had you studied before applying to the University?
I did A Levels in ICT and Mathematics.
Why did you apply for Southampton Solent University?
When visiting on an open day, the university had a great atmosphere! And the course sounded very challenging and I couldn't wait to get stuck in! Also Southampton is a very nice city with many things to do for student life!
What do you enjoy most about your studies?
It's challenging and the tutors give good feedback. Also, lessons are only on Mondays and Tuesdays so if I have to go back home I have five days to do so.
What's the best thing about student life here (for example, learning resources, support, social life)?
The social life is great here in Southampton. All the halls are together with parks and places to chill out, also there are many sport clubs you can join at the beginning of the year to keep you busy. Solent library is amazing - everything you need for your course will be there!
What do you hope to do when you finish the course?
Go travelling! While at university you meet so many other students from other countries and realise that there is so much more out there to experience!
