The Public Relations and Communication course at Southampton Solent University enhances students career prospects, with an employability rate that is above the national average. The course has ensured students are ready to confidently break into the working world and their options are not limited to PR, with graduates also working in marketing, advertising and the media.
Each year Alumni are invited back to talk to current students about their experiences post Solent. This gives students the opportunity to discuss the industry, informing them on how to utilize their degree skills to their advantage and find out what life is like after graduating.

Danielle Tarren, Flowing Ink - Account Executive : “During the course I was taught things such as how to write press releases, how to plan for campaigns and how to incorporate tactics successfully.
