Documentation
As a condition of your exchange placement, Southampton Solent University requires you to complete some important documentation.
The lists below show which documents are required before you depart, on arrival and during your study period and after you have completed your study period.
Before you depart
Grant Application Form
Students going to European institutions may be eligible to apply for an Erasmus grant.

Learning Agreement
This document must be signed by the student, the home institution and the host institution. It shows the agreed units that the student will study during their study period away.

Risk Assessment
Form To identify any risks that may arise during the study period and identify ways to deal with them.

Arrival and during your period abroad
Confirmation of Arrival
Must be signed and stamped by the host institution to confirm that the student has arrived and enrolled.

This form must be completed by the student at the beginning of the exchange placement and returned to Southampton Solent University.

Changes to Learning Agreement
If any changes are made to the original choice of units, the student will need to complete the "Changes to original proposed Learning Agreement" section (page 2 of the Learning Agreement).

After your study period
Confirmation of Attendance
Must be signed and stamped by the host institution to confirm that the student has been in attendance.

Must be signed and stamped by the host institution to confirm that the student has departed.

Student Report Form
If you studied abroad as an Erasmus student and received a grant, you must complete a report form at the end of your exchange period. The University is required to return the report form to The National Agency. If you do not complete it may mean that you may be asked to return part of your grant. It is an essential condition of receiving a grant.
