What level of English do I need?
In order to enrol on a course at the University, we ask that you demonstrate an acceptable level of competence in both written and spoken English. Depending on the type of course you are applying for and whether you are applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course, there will be a difference level of English required.

How many hours a week would I study?
The average number of teaching hours per week is 15 although it will depend on the course. In addition to the hours spent in a classroom, you will be required to provide some independent learning of approximately 15 to 20 hours a week. This independent learning includes course work, researching in the library, group work, using the virtual learning system.
How am I assessed?
Most students are assessed through a series of written assignments, practical work, presentations and exams. You will be given a course handbook when you start your course which should provide further information on assessments.
