UK Based International Students
Welcome to the web page for international students already studying in the UK. We hope you are very happy living in the UK and are thinking of continuing your studies with Southampton Solent University.
Our job is to ensure you have a smooth transition from your current school or college into the University. As a result, we work closely with schools and colleges to help you as a student.
Here are some of the services we offer you:
Individual Visits – If you would like to visit the campus and cannot make an open day, you can visit us separately and chat with one of our staff. All you need to do is contact the International Recruitment Office.
School Visits – If you attend a school and have a group who would like to visit, we can organise this for you. We will send a coach to collect you to spend the day at the University. The visit usually includes tours of the campus with current international students, lunch and subject specific talks from our lecturers.
Visit to your School – We have built up a network with international schools who invite the university to give presentations to groups of students. These talks are varied ranging from the courses available and how to complete a UCAS form.
Regular contact with your school – We work closely with a number of international schools in the UK, so if you have any queries about your application status, your UCAS /University Co-ordinator can contact us directly to get a quick answer.
