News release new Dean of Faculty

Professor Jenny Anderson has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Business, Sport and Enterprise at Southampton Solent University.
Currently Acting Dean of the Faculty, she will take up her post on September 1 2008.
Over the past decade Professor Anderson has led industry-based consultancies within the areas of strategic management of volunteers, policy and research and strategic market research.
As a QAA reviewer she contributed to Subject Review in 2001, Foundation Degree Review in 2004, and a pilot review of HE strategy in further education colleges in 2008 funded by HEFCE.
An outdoor enthusiast –she has climbed Kilimanjaro and made it to the Everest Base Camp - she was Vice-Chair of the Leisure Studies Association and has recently been appointed Vice-Chair of the Recreation Committee of the Solent Forum.
