The document, which also provides formal recognition and celebration of the close ties that already exist between the two organisations, was signed in The Rose Bowl’s Hambledon Suites in front of representatives from both parties and the local media.

Chief among the aims of the Partnership are:

  • Providing The Rose Bowl’s Cricket department with use of the facilities on offer in the Solent University Sports Science department.
  • Potential for running and use of Rose Bowl facilities by the University, particularly the development for commercial and educational use of the ‘Indoor Cricket School’.

  • Continued Southampton Solent University brand prominence at the Rose Bowl.
  • Providing University staff, students and graduates with discount opportunities to attend cricket matches and events at the Rose Bowl.

Rod Bransgrove said; “We are delighted to be signing this Accord with Southampton Solent University.
