Faculty of the Creative Industries and Society research centre
The Faculty of the Creative Industries and Society (FCIS) manages its diverse research and enterprise activities via the FCIS Research Centre.
The research environment in FCIS is dynamic in its range and reach and is coordinated via research clusters in Cultural Memory, Fashion, Special Effects, Visual Design, Interactive Media, Literature and Creative Writing, The Solent Screen (film and TV), Communication and Creativity, Visual Arts, and Music, Culture and Technology.
The clusters, and the research groups within them, provide a stimulating and rigorous environment that supports staff research and doctoral supervision and enhances the undergraduate and postgraduate experience.
The FCIS Research Centre, in conjunction with the University's Academic Services, manages and supports MPhil and PhD students from enrollment to award completion in a broad range of subjects relating to the creative industries and society.
If you wish to obtain more information on our research activities please either search via our Research Cluster pages or by named staff on the Solent Electronic Archive (SEA).
Previous examples of Art, Design and Media research are archived on CREADM.
