Research centres
Postgraduate research is conducted within faculty research centres. Each full-time postgraduate research
student is guaranteed a minimum of:

access to a research training course at an appropriate level

a computer of sufficient capacity to support research

reasonable access to a printer

personal desk
-
adequate furniture
-
standard University software, including email/internet access

special software for specific project requirements

appropriate security
-
network facilities
-
sufficient space allocation, including storage facilities

opportunities to join the postgraduate and research community of the University and faculty research centre
Learning support facilities for part-time research students are more variable and are normally negotiated between the intending student and the research centre prior to enrolment.
