Supervisory network
You will be designated a supervisory team to guide you throughout your research, which will normally consist of
two members of academic staff; a Director of Studies, who you will meet with regularly, and a second supervisor. If your project is inter-disciplinary or in collaboration with another company or institution you may have a third supervisor appointed.
The Faculty Director of Postgraduate Research Students co-ordinates and enhances all aspects of the learning experience of postgraduate research students. This includes ensuring that supervisory teams are suited to your programme of studies and seeking out a suitable replacement should a member leave the team.
