Climate-sensitive architectural design
EnViz is a visualisation application for environmental and climate-sensitive architectural design. The main function of the application is to procedurally generate 3-D models that will be visual representations of environmental research data in the built environment.
OpenStreetMap (OSM) is an international project to produce free and open, liberally licensed maps from copyright-free data sources. These include GPS satellite surveys and out-of-copyright maps. Dr Nick Whitelegg is investigating OSM and developing a new augmented reality application for smartphones.
