sucsSayingHitoFishSub Aqua Club (known as SUCS)

Scuba diving is by it's nature non-competative, but SUCS has won awards given by BSAC the governing body of the Sport in the UK.

In 2009 we were runners up to Edinburgh University in the prestigious Heinke Trophy, which sets out the criteria of the club with the highest of standards and success in training members.

The club trains divers in all BSAC grades from basic entry level, right though to Instructor and Technical diving levels. In a typical Uni year (Oct-June) we would expect a commited member to acheive the Internationallly recognised grade of Sport Diver and if they wanted to, commence entry level Instructor training by year two.
