Welcome to Southampton Solent University Watersports Centre
The Watersports Centre is located in a purpose-built building on the Warsash Campus, situated at the mouth of the River Hamble.
The Centre, which is RYA and BCU recognised, delivers practical courses in yachting, dinghy and keelboat sailing, powerboating and kayaking. In addition, it offers RYA theory courses in Navigation, First Aid, VHF Radio and Diesel Maintenance. We are not only open just Solent University students but also to the general public, and operate all year round.
The Centre boasts a range of new equipment and is ideally suited to teaching everyone from beginners all the way through to Advanced or Instructor level.
Our pricing structure aims to encourage people to get afloat and participate, in particular students.
