Eating Out
When you get home after a gruelling five o'clock lecture with a mountain of assignments hanging over you, the last thing you want is to be slaving over a hot stove. So why not try eating out in one of the many restaurants, cafes, bistros, coffee houses or sandwich bars that will suit all tastes and budgets. They boast cuisine from all over the world including Greek, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Indian, French and modern British food.
The majority of the restaurants are located within easy walking distance of Halls of Residence, along London Road and Oxford Street. You will also find restaurants in Town Quay and Ocean Village that make the most of Southampton's waterside locations.
With so much choice, there will be no need to spend three years eating nothing but kebab and chips from your nearest take-away.
