I have studied in Higher Education before - does this matter?
Any previous study, or changing/leaving a course at university, can affect your funding.
-
If you have done any previous degree/HE study in the UK or overseas, you might not be able to claim any financial help, including tuition fee loans. You must check with Student Finance England (SFE), or speak to a funding adviser, before you commit to a course.
-
If you are coming to university to do another degree or HND, and it is classed as an 'ELQ' (Equivalent or Lower Qualification), you may be charged a higher rate of fees. Always check with the University beforehand.
-
If you are thinking of changing, transferring or leaving your course please speak to a Student Funding adviser or Student Finance England as soon as possible. It could have a significant affect on your student funding in the future.
